France — Clermont-Ferrand and Auvergne
Université Clermont Auvergne is a comprehensive university based in Clermont-Ferrand. Its academic and research activities cover fundamental and engineering sciences, life and health sciences, law, humanities and social sciences.
The university operates in a region combining urban, rural, agricultural and mountain areas with an industrial network of small and medium-sized enterprises and international companies. Cooperation with public authorities, laboratories, businesses and local organisations therefore plays a central role in its education and research activities.
UCA is the coordinating institution of the ARTEMIS Alliance. In addition to its overall coordination role, it contributes to the development of joint activities in education, research, mobility and university–region cooperation.
